The biggest lie in business? That hard work alone will make you successful. I realized that most of what people are told to do in business is designed to keep them stuck. Everything they teach about success is wrong. I know, because I succeeded by doing the opposite.
After building multiple successful from the ground up — without investors, self-funded businesses with no formal training or experience, I realized that most of what people are told to do in business is designed to keep them stuck.
I believed it for years. I followed it. I lived it. I worked two jobs, held a professional corporate role, did everything right “by the book,” and still—I was broke, tired, and wondering why nothing was working. Everyone told me to work harder. Wake up earlier,. Work longer. Push harder. So I did. And nothing changed. UNTIL I STOPPED.

But here’s the truth: that book they told us to follow is broken.
I didn’t get ahead until I stopped following it.
I let go of the formulas, the hustle advice, and the productivity traps. I stopped listening to people who hadn’t built what I wanted to build. I started doing the opposite of everything I was told.
